The starting point

MERZ Aesthetics is one of the UK’s leading names in the world of medical aesthetics. They approached us to relaunch their Ultherapy PRIME website and support them on a number of high-profile campaigns, including the launch of their new global brand ambassador, Salma Hayek.

Ultherapy is an advanced, non-invasive treatment that uses micro-focused ultrasound technology. It allows medical practitioners to accurately assess their patients’ skin and deliver precise energy beneath the surface. This stimulates the natural production of collagen, which in turn helps to lift and sculpt key areas such as the face, neck and décolletage.

As a flagship product within the MERZ portfolio, Ultherapy PRIME required a digital presence that would match its reputation and support both consumer awareness and professional credibility.

What were their challenges?

One of the biggest challenges was that the website had to serve two very different audiences at once. It needed to act as a trusted resource for healthcare professionals, while also providing an engaging, educational experience for consumers. Both journeys had to be seamless, clear and persuasive without losing the premium feel of the Ultherapy PRIME brand.

On top of this, the updated Ultherapy PRIME branding had to be fully integrated into the new site. The visuals, tone and structure all needed to reflect the brand’s status as a market leader. The site also had to be functional in driving results, with increased visibility in Google search, more leads from organic traffic, and a new clinic finder tool that would make it easy for consumers to connect with their nearest official Ultherapy clinic.

Finally, MERZ wanted a site that could underpin not just a relaunch, but an ongoing campaign strategy. This meant making sure it was flexible enough to support future marketing activity and deliver consistent results across multiple channels.

The treatment plan

We reimagined the existing Ultherapy PRIME website, creating a digital platform that combined a premium look and feel with a structure designed for performance. The site incorporated the latest Ultherapy PRIME branding, including striking visuals and video content featuring Salma Hayek. This helped to create a confident and aspirational online presence that matched the prestige of the treatment itself.

From a technical perspective, we restructured the site for organic and Google search performance. Every clinic listed was given its own fully optimised profile page, built around local search to ensure strong visibility across the UK. We reviewed and improved title tags, meta descriptions and on-page copy to maximise SEO impact and ensure the site was set up to compete strongly in search rankings.

Alongside the website itself, we developed a suite of evergreen marketing assets designed for use across organic social media, paid campaigns and digital advertising. We also created a series of supporting email newsletters, helping MERZ maintain engagement with their professional network and reach consumers directly with clear, informative updates.

For paid campaigns, we worked closely with MERZ to design and lead strategy-led social activity. As a result, traffic from paid social grew significantly. This uplift wasn’t simply a matter of increased spend, but the result of creative campaign design, targeted messaging and precise optimisation.

The finished result was a slick, professional and future-ready website that not only captured the premium feel of Ultherapy PRIME, but also worked as a powerful tool for growth across search, social and HubSpot email marketing.
